Funeral Home offers many choices for services for funerals.
All
Ontario funeral homes must have 3 categories for their customers:
1)
Services 2) Supplies 3) Disbursements
1)
Services:
These are the actual things that the funeral home supplies
to you in the form of services, facilities and vehicles, and
consist of, but not limited to:
-Professional and Staff services
-Documentation-Professional embalming/preparation
-Preparation room / Retaining room
-Facilities & Equipment
-Funeral stationary
-Automotive Equipment (All necessary vehicles) *excludes additional
vehicles if required*
-All cemetery equipment
2) Supplies:
These are the items you purchase from the funeral home, but
are not limited to:
-Casket-Cremation container
-Urn
-Outer casket container (cement vault)
-Outer urn container (urn vault)
-Cremated remains jewelry
3)
Disbursements: These are services or supplies
that are paid by the funeral home on your behalf and are included
in the final invoice.
**Disbursements are ACTUAL COSTS and the funeral home CAN
NOT PROFIT from these, and are not subject to the G.S.T.**
Disbursement
are, but not limited to:
-Newspaper notices
-Cemetery
charges
-Floral arrangements
-Clergy offering
-Organist / Bag Piper / Soloist
-Cremation fee
-Coroner to sign cremation papers fee
-Reception / luncheon
Below
is a list of different funeral options that Boyce Funeral
Home offers.
1) Traditional:
Funeral Service:
Professional
embalming of the deceased, open casket (closed if requested),
up to two days visitation, followed by a funeral service in
our chapel, or church of your choice, followed by a funeral
procession to cemetery, or cremation may take place.
Reception/luncheon
afterwards.
All
vehicles, which include, clergy/lead car, pall bearers van,
coach/hearse, 1 family limo.
Professional documentation, filing documents with the town
& province.
Memorial
stationary which includes guest book, thank you cards, pall
bearer thank you cards, portfolio, funeral cards with or without
picture, mass prayer cards, memorial bookmarks (if requested),
memorial DVD (if requested).
Use of all funeral home facilities, coffee, tea provided.
All
professional Staff
Note:
You may choose to have a traditional funeral service, but
have the visitation and funeral on the same day at a lower
cost.
2)
Respect: Modified Funeral Service:
Immediate cremation of deceased, with no embalming.
1 Day visitation periods (2-4 & 7-9 pm) followed by funeral
service in our chapel or church of your choice.
May be followed by a funeral procession to cemetery.
Reception/luncheon afterwards.
All vehicles, which include, clergy/lead car, pall bearers
van, coach/hearse, 1 family limo.
Professional documentation, filing documents with the town
& province.
Memorial stationary which includes guest book, thank you cards,
pall bearer thank you cards, portfolio, funeral cards with
or without picture, mass prayer cards, memorial bookmarks
(if requested), memorial DVD (if requested).
Use of all funeral home facilities, coffee, tea provided.
All professional Staff.
3) Respect:
Modified Funeral Service #2
Immediate cremation of deceased, with no embalming.
1 - 2 hour visitation followed by funeral service on same
day in our chapel or church of your choice.
May be followed by a funeral procession to cemetery.
Reception/luncheon afterwards.
Vehicles, which include clergy/lead car, coach/hearse with
"Funeral Ark" Professional documentation, filing
documents with the town & province.
Memorial stationary which includes guest book, thank you cards,
pall bearer thank you cards, portfolio, funeral cards with
or without picture, mass prayer cards, memorial bookmarks
(if requested).
Use of most funeral home facilities, coffee, tea provided.
All professional Staff.
4)
Dignity: Immediate cremation/disposition
Immediate cremation or burial, with no embalming.
No public visitation.
No funeral/memorial service.
No stationary (available on request).
Removal of deceased from place of death to funeral home.
Body placed in cremation container or purchased casket.
Transfer to crematorium or cemetery for burial.
For cremation, cremated remains return to funeral home in
plastic container and given to family or transfer to cemetery
for burial.
Documents filed with town & province.
*Decorative urns are available for purchase at the funeral
home.*
Of coarse,
you can customize any of our services to suit your individual
and religious needs.
Also,
if your loved one is a Veteran, member of a fraternity, Legion,
Lodge etc. we can accommodate services at the funeral home
or church.
