Obituary of Robert Russell Earl Blackburn

Blackburn, Robert Russell Earl November 28, 1925— March 8, 2015 Our beloved Bob passed away at the Grove Nursing Home, Arnprior, March 8, 2015 after a well fought battle against kidney disease. Wonderful and loving husband of his wife Lorna Mosley and his late wife Shirley Olson (January 4, 1994). Fantastic Dad of Beverley Storey (Dennis Bimm), Frederick Blackburn (Diane), Wayne Blackburn (Wendy Hughes) and Debbie King. Step Dad of Kent Villeneuve (M.C.) and Carol Wilson (Mark). Son-in-law of Catherine Mosley. Special “Gramps” of Shawn, Eric and Daniel Blackburn, Robert and Christopher King and Kaitlyn Blackburn, Sam and Erik Wilson, and Katherine and Victor Villeneuve. Great “Gramps” of Emma, Celia, Danika, Brianna, Alexia, Seanna and Owen Blackburn. Dear brother of Viola Milton, Edith Bond and Jake Blackburn (Jean). Brother-in-law of Ian Mosley (Irene). Arrangements by the Boyce Funeral Home, 138 Daniel Street N., Arnprior. At Bob’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A family celebration of Bob’s life will take place at a later date at his beloved cottage on White Lake where his cremated remains will be scattered over the lake.
