Obituary of Barbara Elizabeth Royce

Barbara Elizabeth Royce (nee Smithson) March 21, 1930-March 18, 2015 Passed away peacefully in the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital Wednesday March 18, 2015 with loving family by her side. Barbara Royce of Arnprior just three days shy of her 85th birthday. Much loved and devoted mother of Karen (Bob) Melanson of Almonte, Bernice (Ted) Brown of Arnprior, Brenda (Fern) Mondor of Smiths Falls, Sharon (Bob) Lamendeau of Arnprior, Clayton (Marita) Royce of Cobourg and Kim (Dave) Sleeman of Port Hope. Cherished grandmother of Richard, Tammy, Michelle, Thomas, Cole, Elizabeth and Chad. Proud great-grandmother of 4 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Dear sister-in-law of Mary Smithson of Pakenham and Mabel Smithson of Picton. Barbara was predeceased by her 7 siblings; Edith (late Garnet) Potter, Violet MacMillan, Blanche (late Kenneth) Runtz and Tom, Clarence, Harvey and Jearl Smithson. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Richard Smithson and Elizabeth Logan.
